"I Want You (She's So Heavy)" was written by Lennon about his relationship with Ono,[4] and he made a deliberate choice to keep the lyrics simple and concise.[46] Author Tom Maginnis writes that the song had a progressive rock influence, with its unusual length and structure, repeating guitar riff, and white noise effects, though he noted the "I Want You" section has a straightforward blues structure.

Gentlemen, here's the result, I love it, we hear all instruments. Not easy to mix given all the different sections.
Rob redid his bass with a more natural sound, I think it's much better. And he cares of not having a flat-top haircut in his wave form.

Haha - thanks Yves. I thought this was a waveform-safe zone! No waveform-shaming! Seriously, I really love this guys, excellent work by all! Truly

Hi guys, I've divided all tracks level by 2, the balance has remains the same apparently. I did it because there was quite frying bacon sound in the global result.

I think maybe the drums are clipping? A couple of bass notes too perhaps. Do i need to try again?

@YvesC: did you save a mix? Or publish from studio?

made the mod in DAW but applied to collab, so you can publish either way.

I think clipping is no more an issue, do you agree ?

@YvesC: It's a fact that most of the tracks are too hot and there is a lot of clipping in the tracks themselves. But now, nothing is in sync in the Studio or in the Daw.

Well damn - the day is finally here. At long last I have published my (final) bass track. Learned a lot doing this one. I tried not to mess up the mix we all discussed at length! Please let me know if we are ready to mark completed or if we still need to tweak it... YvesC did you want to edit some keys levels?

Yes, for the very first note for sure. It looks like I'm faking playing lol.

I will also look at the overall level, It's too loud and saturating. First time I see that in a collab.

If you allow me, I will look at this too, I hate that giant keyboard waiting for the bus during the whole song, lol

Great track @CyberBass . While you're at it, you should reduce the volume of the 1st guitar, something like 60%. It's too prominent I think.

@Claude : Thanks Claude - I hate my tone. I'm staring to think it's not worthwhile trying to make my bass sound like Paul, etc. I should just use my own tone from pedals - no software! I will drop that track a bit. I actually boosted your other guitar track before, as it was maxed and just barely cutting through.

Apologies but I think it had been so long that didn’t listen to my entire bass track. It’s not up to par with all of you. I will be posting a new one shortly. And THEN it will be completed :-)

I should note, the difficulty I am having is that Sir Paul is noodling the whole time! I really have to work outside my comfort zone and almost improvise. I am more of a phrasing player.
