"Here Comes the Sun" was written by Harrison in Eric Clapton's garden in Surrey during a break from stressful band business meetings.[53] The basic track was recorded on 7 July 1969. Harrison sang lead and played acoustic guitar, McCartney provided backing vocals and played bass and Starr played the drums.[51] Lennon was still recuperating from his car accident and did not perform on the track. Martin provided an orchestral arrangement in collaboration with Harrison, who overdubbed a Moog synthesizer part on 19 August, immediately before the final mix

Again here, I would tweak the vocal timing very slightly forward. Otherwise, decent mix and fine performances. I thought I already heard and commented on most of these Abbey Road collabs. Apparently not. I think Oh Darling is my favorite so far. Perfect line up for these tunes. Well organized.

    Hi my friends.
Since one of the sound I do on the synth is flute, I was thinking of replacing it with a real flute player.
I asked Janet and she's interested at the condition that you all agree.
I would create a new Youtube vid for my channel with Janet. It would be available to any of you indeed.
Since you are performing on this video I have to ask if all of you are ok with this ?
No impact on this Bandhug version, unless we agree differently.

Haha, not obvious to film a drum, it occupies a lot of space. I like a lot the viewing angle you got here, we see your face, your work and your drums. Jason, Rob and Claude's pictures are pretty sharp, I'd be curious to know what camera they use.

@YvesC: I have two - one of them has very poor lighting for some reason - and no way to adjust on Mac anyway.

@YvesC: Awesome video Yves. I will use it for my YT channel. I was still mixing it this morning. If you are curious to hear the result, it's her : https://drive.google.com/file/....d/1uXGh85Yhk4BryP5-K . And the cam I used is a Logitech C920.

If you'd like to know, main thing I did to the mix: Vocal: more brightness, compression, reverb. Guitar: Haas effect, reverb. Bass: compression. And many other small edits...

(I choose to put guitar on the right because visually, given your body position, your picture was better on the right and I made the audio follow ) haha

Honestly, my opinion is vocals are way way too loud, guitar too loud, bass should be louder to match drums, keys too low. But if I'm the only one to see it this way then ok.

May have been my fault :-p - I didn't make any adjustments to levels when I uploaded the vocal tracks, because I still don't really understand very well how mixing works in BandHug, haha. And I'm not the best at mixing anyway - but latest mix sounds ok to me. If anything I lower the bass juuuusssst a touch?

OK, so on further listens, I'm finding I can't really hear the backing vocals hardly at all. Rob, I submitted a mix with some extra panning on the BV's to help them pop out a little more. Also suggested some slight panning on guitar and keys to give each a bit more room in the mix. See what you think. Feels like the sound in DAW mode is not exacly the same as in the final published video so... might be a bit tricky I guess.

Jason, very that you propose panning guit on right and keys on left, that's exactly what i was thinking. !

@YvesC: Studio. I selected the DAW mix - is that the way we do it now? Not sure with the recent site changes

@CyberBass: That's perfect from DAW since I believe Jason proposed a mix from DAW.

@YvesC: well I loaded Jason’s daw mix, applied settings, then went to studio and published selecting the daw mix tick box. I was told panning tracks is not picked up if you publish from daw? I never do this panning so I have no experience

@CyberBass: eh, I will ask dennisski , in the old days Studio panning were not transmitted to DAW but now that DAW has Pan I guess/hope that DAW pan goes into final render, Dennis ?

@YvesC: panning works in daw it's just reversed. If you publish from daw panning is reversed. Publish from studio(do not use daw mix) and the panning is correct

haha, yes, just DL the mp3 and see that L&R are inversed but it works.

For testing purposes, could you Rob, publish from studio without the DAW mix box. Curious to see how it will compare to actual one.

@CyberBass: Besides overall level and L&R being inverted I don't see the differences. Did Jason sent a new mix proposal ?

Ok, I took another crack at it. It really depends where you listen in the song - with all instruments going, individual levels can seem lower. I hope I got it right this time, taking into account everybody's feedback

@CyberBass - I think that sounds pretty good Rob, probably as good as we'll get it on BandHug. @Claude - I LOOVVVE your offline mix! Going to download and use that when I post on socials :-)

CyberBass I think also that the mix is good Rob.. Maybe some EQ on the vocals could help but the overall balance is good. @jdOzman: Happy you like it Jason, but it was just an attempt and it needs to be improved a lot. Will try to find time to work on it and let you know then.
