Thank you ,CarolGrand - I think the piano playing Deuils did here totally makes the collab. He is an exceptional talent.

@CopyCat : You're too kind! Glad to be of service, it was a cool chart. I dig the Music Hall feel.

Bravo!!! This is top shelf stuff! Well done you two. Deuils, wow! that was an amazing performance! I loved the ending. It put a big smile on my face. And yes, as CopyCat mentioned, I recommend the use of the Trim function on all negative sync tracks. It is super easy to use. Here's the How-To: https://bandhug.com/v/3K9Y7d Cheers!

@Deuils: That fixed the A/V sync problem. I have republished. That is MUCH better. Now we can really see you do your magic! Cool beans!!

Deuils - What a wonderful gift. I can't thank you enough for learning and performing this piano part so brilliantly, from beginning to reckless ending. You made my day with this track, my friend! Amazingly note-for-note accurate through the entire vocal. I really appreciate that. And you managed to get the perfect sound as well. I'm really glad I asked you to join me on this one, and that you graciously accepted.

I was able to get your audio aligned nicely in DAW, but the negative timing number caused the video to be out of sync with the audio. Often, after a day or two, this will fix itself, but if not, there is one option which may fix the audio/video sync issue. The "Trim" option under wrench on the main studio page has worked for me in the past, so don't worry too much about that right now. I think we'll get it straightened out, and back in sync.

Thanks a billion for this awesome gift!! :-)

Very happy to help. Hope you didn't mind me going a bit "Aladdin Sane" at the end. I put the bottles there for the video to make it look a bit more Saloon-like and promptly forgot about them until I hit them!

@Deuils: Your comical ending gave me a good (and much needed) laugh. You always seem to do something hilarious in your videos, which is a quality I highly admire.. And about the bottles, I figured you were just having a few drinks to keep it loose. That was the perfect ending to your racing crescendo. LOL

@Deuils: The next bar you go into with an open piano, you should play this song! :-)

@CopyCat : I can't mix drinks like I used to. If I have sparkling wine or beer and a whisky later on, I end up paying for it really badly the next day. The halcyon days of Uni all-night benders are long gone! :D :D As for playing this in a pub ... I think there might be some potential there.

@Deuils: I'm glad to hear that. I guess that puts us in the same boat, regarding alcohol consumption.

Nailed it as usual Cat. Are you in a car doing those vocals? That's unique!
I'm about ready to have a crack at this. Just need to find an appropriate upright piano sound ... something that sounds a bit "well used" from an old church hall, that sort of sound! In fact, that would probably be easier than trying to dirty up a clean digital piano :D Ha!

Thanks - Back in the BandhuB days (before BandhuG) I also used the name "VanGuy", mainly because I did ALL of my vocal recording from the driver seat of my minivan. Now that I'm collecting SSI benefits for my disability, I can now afford to live in a motel room, rather than in my van, so these days much of my recording is done from my motel room instead of the van. Though, I actually find I have more privacy when recording in the van, so I actually prefer that. It's actually not as unique as you might think, as many other folks have done it that way. Yeah, that might be a good idea, to find an old piano in a church somewhere, but that also sounds like a lot of work. I wouldn't worry so much about capturing the exact sound. Remember, effects like delay and reverb can always be added later, if you want. Just have fun with it.

Glad you like it, Carol. Thanks for your support. I can only hope it gets finished. At this point it seems Deuils initial interest in the piano part has faded, as there have been no other words from him about this collab. It very well may join the ever-growing list of Bandhug collabs which will never be completed. Though, I do hope I'm wrong about that. We shall see.
