In May 2001, American rock band Alien Ant Farm released a cover version of "Smooth Criminal" as the second single from their second studio album, Anthology (2001). According to lead singer Dryden Mitchell, the band would play a few riffs of the Jackson song while warming up before gigs and audience members would request them to play the entire song.[75] This positive feedback encouraged them to record their own rendition of "Smooth Criminal" and include it on Anthology.

Carol - you should rethink doing this one over. I think it is great. Wouldn’t want to lose the energy on a retake.

Sounds pretty tight on my phone without earbuds. I'll give a listen on my computer when I get some coffee in me.

@CyberBass: It sounds great, Rob. Nice job. Sorry about the delay. We were going to hang around but ended up packing up and heading home right after coffee. Three hours of driving, then I had to get my tax stuff in to the accountant. Went into the studio to listen and immediately fell asleep on the couch.

@Bob : Ok good. I like it! Next time I should add count-ins for those tricky breaks in the middle of the tune

@CyberBass: It's not like I didn't know when to come in. It was that I couldn't figure out what to come in with.

@Bob : Then you were ahead of me Bob. I had a lot of trouble coming out of that damn break. I added to count-ins but before that I had no idea when to come in

@CyberBass: I waited for when I could put in a rimshot, so I'm late at the start and after the break.

You guys sound awesome. I'm gonna add a one note patch at the end to tag it with the guitars. We could call this band Carol Grand and the Robertos.

Great guitar, Roberto. Love it. Hey Rob. You around. Was wondering if you could publish so I can see if I like the new drum track better than the old one. Or maybe wait because Zi don't know how to trim video. Admin: Dennis? How do I do that to get the audio/video synced?

@CyberBass: Oh, sorry to hear. No hurry. Just curious on how you sync video and audio. I hit trim/save and I get a vid with no start time and and end time of 30. I'm afraid to use the feature.
