The song was described as electropop, dance-pop, pop-trap, and nu-goth pop in press reviews, for which synth bass, a kick drum, finger snaps and 808 bass provide minimalist instrumentation. During the song's lyrics, Eilish taunts her lover for being a bad guy although suggesting that she is more resilient than him, and further touches on themes about misandry and sarcasm.

I think I'll pass on this as the bass is fine and anything I add will probably drowned out the bass as I have some pretty intense grunge bass sounds that would blend with the guitar distortion but wipe out 1983Electric. More than happy to take a look at anything else when a part isn't done.
