Looks like one of your tracks is not working. Look at the tracks the one where the play button on the audio is greyed out move that one two drafts and then you should be able to record

@Carol Grand: He probably saved when the bad track was there. If he saves it now it should be good.

@Carol Grand: If settings were save prior to changes it will not reflect the changes, if he added or removed tracks he should resave.

@Carol Grand: By the way you could try to salvage the bad track by doing a reset from the wrench.
