Chick Magnet a song by MxPx from their third studio album "Life in General ", released in 1996.
Wow wow wow, yeah :-)
Awesome!! Love it!!
@creek: @dan00075: @cbgb: complete?
Good job lining up them there snaps ! sounds good to me ;)
You nailed it.
@Bob : thanks! But you guys helped me a lot! Big shutout to dan00075 who teached me quite a few things that I'll be able to apply in my future collabs.
Congrats on your first completed collab, Gino! The mix sounds great! Thanks for organizing it. Until next time! Cheers!
GxCaron if you are publishing from DAW, remember to click "Apply Loaded Settings" first, then click "Publish Collab".
ok, so I adjust the volume, then click apply loaded settings then publish? because right now it's not working for me haha
@Gino Caron: correct :)
When you click Apply Loaded Settings, you will see a spinning wheel in the middle of the screen. You must wait until this spinning wheel goes away. It may take up to a minute. Then you can click Publish Collab.
@Daniel Ramos (@dan00075): I just published it, what do you think?
@Gino Caron: The publish worked :) but if you are asking me about the collab in general, I would add some compression as well as loudness normalization to Creek's snaps :)
@Daniel Ramos (@dan00075): I published without knowing there's was snaps lol She was done recording it the second I clicked publish I'm guessing lol and now she's adding some claps! so I'll wait later to republish. But you can't add compression in bandhug right?
@Gino Caron: Not yet. You will need to do that offline and then upload her track again.
@Daniel Ramos (@dan00075): so, I download the audio but I also need the video to add the new audio to the video before re-uploading (that's what I do with my tracks, maybe I take the long path for nothing and there's another way). I think there's something I'm missing here lol
@Gino Caron:@Creek: Hi there , new settings sent with sync and sound levels and eq . Im not thrilled with sound on claps lol . Your call to trash keep or adjust sound with effects
@Gino Caron: In Studio, click the wrench icon on the top right corner of the desired track and then click the Download MP4 button. This will download the combined video/audio for that track.
@Daniel Ramos (@dan00075): oh ok! I never really checked the studio yet, I thought it was just for video recorded directly in bandhug instead of uploaded tracks. good to know, thanks.
@Creek: hey! thanks! sorry about earlier, I never saw your snaps lol it was not there and when I published... it appeared lol perfect timing. I'm still pretty new here and just trying to figure it out haha I know a few guitar chords and knows how to open my web browser that's about it for now lol by the way, good stuff, thank you so much for all these tracks!
@Gino Caron: You are most welcome . You are doing great ! Yes this is a learn as you go deal . Everyone is super helpful to share any info and know hows . If I can ever help you , please lmk. I am a button pusher , not too tech savy , a little slow in that department and my instrument ability is challanged being a late to the party learner . But hey we are all here for the fun of making music and learning new stuff . Cheers man ! Thanks for having me . and Thanks to the outstanding Band that brought the goods , Well played all !!!
@Daniel Ramos (@dan00075): I think it sounds a little bit better now
@Gino Caron: Getting there ;-) The snaps are a bit early. You should try to sync them to the snare. I think this means a sync correction of around 0.043 or thereabouts. You can do this either via DAW by using the sync button (the two-headed arrow). You may have to zoom all the way in to be able to fine tune the track position. Then Apply Loaded Settings and Publish Collab. Alternatively, you can just type in the desired sync value in Studio by clicking in the track's time stamp and typing in the relevant values, then tab out of it. Another thing, when you download and re-upload other people's tracks, you can choose the BT option at the time you upload instead of User Track. This will add the track without a watermark of your own username. You can then go into studio and edit the track's info via the wrench icon, and assign the track to the relevant user.
@Daniel Ramos (@dan00075): thanks for the help. I really appreciate it
@Daniel Ramos (@dan00075): Just republished, sounds good to you? @Creek: what do you think?
@Gino Caron: Nice!
Hi Folks ! I have submitted vocal trax , Please see my latest saved settings for levels . What a fun song .
@Gino Caron: I think some claps and snaps would be icing , Thoughts ?
@Creek: snaps for sure. If you're willing to do it. I can't snap my fingers lol I've tried all my life... it just won't work for me lol
@Creek: I just published it, let me know what you think
@Gino Caron: cool ! i was just recording snaps when you published , let me send you my sync #s
@Creek: Hi there , new settings sent with sync and sound levels and eq . Im not thrilled with sound on claps lol . Your call to trash keep or adjust sound with effects
@Creek: Fantastic job on the vocals, Creek! Well done and great to collab with you again!
@Daniel Ramos (@dan00075): Thanks Dan, always my pleasure to collab with you and your talented bassness , I made that word up but I think it works ;)
