Creep (Post Modern Jukebox)

Not sure. did you try David Levine?

airdale

@dennisski: good idea

Sorry, Stu. I love this song and this version. But I've been crazy busy and unable to get into the studio. I I'd like to wait until after the vocals as that will be the actual groove reference.

@Bob : Still working on it, it's taking time to learn the lead. But I should be able to record soon , I almost know it by heart !! :D Maybe next week !

@camillesobud: No hurry on my account. I just think it will be better if I play to you so I don't play over you.

Here is a lead !!! Finally ! Let me know what you think about it ! :)

@camillesobud: Wow! tres bien! Merci bien! Btw, I hope all is well where you are. It looks pretty scary on the internet :-(

@camillesobud: Fantastic!

@stubass: thank you ! Yes the weather is crazy, still warm even if we are at the beginning of Octobre. But hopefully it rained last week and Yesterday after 2 months of drought. We can breath again.

@camillesobud: Actually I was referring to the riots :-( but I'm happy the weather has taken a turn for the better :-)

@stubass: Oh sure, there are riots, high school students... Don't know what you saw in the medias, some riots turn bad because of one person who lights a fire on a building, or one who attacks the policemen, or a policeman who is totally mad and dangerous attacks the teenagers... Most of the time, the riots are peaceful, high school students are asking for some basic rights they should all have wherever is their school (like having a teacher for each course, having decent rooms for the lectures, etc...). I am not following everything that is happening everyday so I may not be fully updated about the situation. But thank you anyway for you concern. :) And as I'm living in the countryside I don't really see all the riots for real, they are mostly in the cities.

@camillesobud: Yes! As far as I can tell ,most of the riots are in Marseille and Paris. Country side sounds good :-)

@Bob : Whenever you're ready thx :-)

@Bob : Vocals are in --TIA

@stubass: Today, if I still remember how to play my drums. My apologies for the long delay. My boat got caught in a bad storm on July 16th abd it has been a race against winter to get it fixed. Still a long way to go but today is a rain day and a holiday.

@Bob : Thx, friend. Whenever you can fit it in :-)

@stubass: Just laid in a track. Listened with and without BT. See what you think. I have to play my kit the way it sounds on BH. I can't get a cover because I just don't have the nuanced mix ability of a real studio. Can't bring up or down sections of a song.

Wow! Great!

Wow !! What a performance ! This Hailey is amazing. I've always loved Post Modern Jukebox, they really nail every song they cover in such a classy way. I'm not sure I can do as good as she did but it worths the try ! But again, don't know when I'll be able to record, we're still in the middle of a heatwave here and I can't record at my place when it's too warm... So if you're not in a hurry, I should be able to record this for September I think.

@camillesobud: Tres bien :-)

@stubass: Cool, thank you for the invite and your patience !! ;)
