Taylor Swift and I wrote a song of celebration for the Puma-22 Day Festivals . The backing track is one I recorded at home on a little multi-track recorder, with a drum machine for percussion. This is a dance song about making up dance moves inspired by pumas (= mountain lions = cougars = catamounts = panthers). It's about dancing with (for, like) the handsome but lovelorn Puma-22, LA's most famous bachelor. I'm going to try and get some volunteers in my park (and maybe some NPS rangers) to record people dancing to this song.

Find sheet music in my Dropbox here:

I want to record a version that rocks hard, with real people playing all the parts! And I want to do it over the next week or so, because virtual Puma-22 Day Fest 2020 is coming up in a couple weeks. https://savelacougars.org/p-22-day/

The verses have a restrained, quiet feel (palm -muted guitar, sparse instrumentation). The choruses and the Outro rock out exuberantly.

Background:
Puma -22 is "the Hollywood Puma" made famous by National Geographic magazine and photographer Steve Winter in 2013. https://www.nationalgeographic.....com/photography/pro
He lives in Griffith Park, a big natural area in the heart of Los Angeles, and he's a real life wildlife mascot to millions of Angelenos who wish him well. Naturally shy and retiring, very few humans have ever actually seen Puma-22 although he lives in a park visited by many millions of people annually. But motion-detecting automated nighttime wildlife cameras operated by a cadre of dedicated wildlife biologists have documented his life and times down through the years and have made him something of a media celebrity. In 2015 the Los Angeles City Council declared October 22 to be "Puma 22 Day" and there has been an environmental education celebration event in Griffith Park on or near that date for each of the last 5 years. This year the event is virtual, so I'm inviting my BandHug wrecking crew to help me put this song into orbit.

Thank you @Protis! I ended up submitting a different version of this song for the virtual Puma 22 Day Gest 2020, so I have more time to complete this collab now.. I'll give it a listen and work on my guitar parts next. Thanks mate.

I finally got around to recording that synth bass line that you were wanting. If you still want it, here it is. It may need some mixing and adjustment, but feel free to do with it what you will.

OK, @RicBass says he'll send me a bassline. @Protis I wonder if you'd have time to record that awesome, punchy syncopated bass synth line? See private message to you.
