"Don't You Wish It Was True" by John Fogerty. The song appears on the album "Revival"...not one of his big hits, but a feel good song that is fun to play.
here's a couple of rough trax ( including my firsr attempt on Lap ) guitars a bit busy and inexperience shows on LS track, Will re-do by the weekend, hopefully with a little polish.
Hi Steve...I thought those sounded pretty good, so bumped up your volume and published. Feel free to redo if you want as your fine tuning that new tool. Love the lap-steel and those fills youcreate. Thanks, Rick
@Rick : here's another LS ( maybe better a bit, I'm still learning ) like the mix with the drums ( guit's a little loud ? ) but everybody but me sounds great!!
@SteveD: Good song for you to experement on! Will take a listen tommorrow. Going to likely redo the vocals when I get home. My son showed me how to pull the tracks out into garrage band and some EQ tricks, so will doe some of that when I can listen through more than my laptop speakers. And you sound great- wish I could play like that. Thanks again, rick
Thanks all on this Fogerty tune...now complete, Rick
