Welcome to the collab. "Choosin' Texas" by Ella Langley is popular because of its "irresistible" and "relatable" storytelling, featuring a deeply infectious, 90s-country sound that resonates as a 2026 chart-topping phenomenon. The song's success is fueled by viral streaming, authentic Southern grit, and a sharp songwriting approach that highlights modern heartbreak, making it a standout hit in 2026.

Thank you Rick, I'm about to record my BV again because I didn't make the right harmonies on it, maybe next week.

Mix saved in DAW mode where time synchronization is 00:38.517 for the last BV track with the harmony you asked for. :)

Hey Daniel...I added an electric track that might fill-in while a "real" slide guitarist steps up. Use if it might work ! You also listed Mandolin...I can play some basic mandolin, but had a hard time hearing it in the BT? This song has really taken off in the US and the collab is starting to sound pretty good. Do you think camillesobud might be interested in adding some backing vocals?

Hey Rick, I didn't notice at first there were backing vocals, but you're right she is doubling her voice on the chorus and maybe doing a slight harmony... I can look into it and try to add some BV. :)

@Daniel Ramos (@dan00075): Here is a track, I synchronized and sent you a mix from DAW mode. :) Let me know if it sounds good.

@camillesobud: Beautiful rendition Camille! Well done! I feel the sync was a little too late, so I have moved it to 0.010. Please let me know if you do not agree with this. Also, would you mind if I try some reverb on your vocals?

Daniel...great song choice and you and Ray sounding spot-on. I submit the rythm acoustic for you to check out. I got to experimenting with some string work and thought it might sound OK, so included that for fun as well. Use only what works and glad to redo if needed. Thanks for the invite...Rick
