I'm glad you like it. It was pretty easy to imagine I was singing about a certain ex-GF. ;-)

I was a little uncomfortable about technique for singing the long sustained Giiiiiirl.. . lines. SIngers have to be very careful singing a long vowel that ends in "r" to make sure it doesn't come out sounding like pirate talk. Like, "Ah Grrrrrrrrrrrl..." John sounds like he was singing something close to a "soft e" sound.
