Such a smooth tune guys, well done! And the mix is excellent and nobody is stepping on anyone’s toes! Love it.

Such a quirky song. So glad you all found it interesting to add your parts. Love our cover of it!

Yes sounds great! :) very fun and different song! Happy that @Bob was able to figure out the timing as it became a bit tricky!

cbgb and marjolein Thank you both for pointing out the flaws in my mix. I admit I rushed my first published version. I really appreciate you both pointing out areas where the collab could be improved and I think the collab sounds a LOT better now, thanks to you two. Please do continue to contribute with your ears for a mix in any future collabs (or past) as sometimes mine get clumsy for many reasons. I am super grateful to you both. Thanks!!!

I feel really good about this one thanks to you. I had never heard it before. It has such a cool groove and vibe with all the musicians in their own zones but still completely in a pocket. This would have been really difficult to cover without your all of you being in the right place at the right time. I'm probably the weakest link here but I wouldn't hesitate for a second to play somewhere live with all of you.

Hi Dan.Here's what I came up with. DAW for you in cbgb Setting. Dan 10.941, Marj .099 (unchanged); cbgb .061, Gino .061, Marv .064. As I suspected, drums and Marv ended up changing the most. But trust your ear not mine. I could be wrong but I think this sounds better.

@Gino Caron: haha. No way. All I did was put my face 2" from the computer screen and line up our waveforms. Good thing I'm super nearsighted.

@Bob : well, you did a great job! and I don't always play on time lol most of the time I play without headphones with my monitors on. I need a longer cord for my headphones I feel stuck when I use them! and I don't trust bluetooth for recording.

@Gino Caron: I don't trust Bluetooth, either. Everything I have is plugged in, except I'm wireless to the modem.

Hi Dan. I think the sync might have drifted a little on this song. I was checking my notes and I see that I had you set at 10.939, and Gino at -.056. You're still in the right place but Gino's time is changed. And the lead sounds like it's pushing on my end. Either that, or the drums may need a new adjustment from -.073 to something else. I've been experiencing this a lot lately, so maybe it's just me being away for so long. I'm not sure it was Marjolein who was off sync. It seems to me that a big sync issue in one track is easy to isolate, but a really minor one makes them all sound off. Anyway, if you unlock, I can play with it in DAW. Up to you my friend.

cbgb Hi Bob. Collab is now unlocked. Go ahead with any changes you wish :) :) Please note, Gino's and Marv's original syncs that you had noted down are most likely not accurate anymore because I worked on their tracks offline (panning) and uploaded new versions of them and this, in itself, changes the sync timing, so I would recommend that you should forget about any saved DAW settings you may have and work with what is there now. Cheers.
