I have found that it's faster to upload a recording by clicking the "Save to Disc" option after recording, and then use the "Add Tracks" option to upload the track. This way, you also have a spare copy of the file on your computer disc, and the upload goes much faster than choosing "Upload" after recording. FYI.
Even when you do not use the mono? The new process seems quicker and gives you the option to do a "fix mono" after upload. But if saving and uploading is good for you then thats great.
@admin: I guess I haven't tried the new process yet. I never check the mono square, because my Yeti mic is a stereo mic. I also don't need the fix mono with my mic.. but I can see how some might.
@CopyCat : The process was changed because of the longer upload times when mono was checked. No mono is not checked by default and you can cancel out of the fix mono after upload. Try it. It may be aster for you.
