Nice work man! Agree. This is great. John Mayer gets pretty deep in his lyrics. Not sure if we talked about this before but...there are lots of John Mayer songs that I enjoy but never cover them cause he's too damn good on the guitar. He has crazy hands where his thumb can stretch in not human ways. Not sure if you ever heard 'Neon" but watch his thumb when he plays this around the 1 minute mark. Yeah man, I'll wing a solo anytime, lol. I don't think I can help with the drums though, it sounds like more of a percussion track, like claps, or maybe a tambourine or egg shaker would be better here? I don't have the ability to trigger anything like with my current set

@MikeWalker: Gotcha. I'll invite you on for the "winging it" solo. Just do whatever you want. I could be wrong but I THINK it's damn near impossible to get the exact John Mayer guitar effect. Just wing it and have fun!
