New drum track for you CC. Maybe a little better. I EQd it and added a little reverb. I didn't add any gain boost. Outro is cleaner but I'm not sure I landed the tag exact. Lines up perfectly with BT in DAW but sounds a little off. If I had a DAW at home I could fix it. The only other thing you may notice is a couple of snare notes drop out. Fortunately, it almost sounds like it was meant to be that way.

Sounds good to me. Thanks for the redo. Well played, gentlemen! Shall we call it completed? Any final mix suggestions?

Thanks, guys. It was a tough one. Used a little trick I learned online, made a big difference. I placed weights on my beater skins. It took out a lot of resonating and made it easier to hear what I was doing. I bet I canned 25 attempts at this song. It's a lot harder than it sounds.

@Bob : No. It sounds hard and watching you play it, I get it. Tequila liquer might have lehlped.

Jeez, sounds pretty tight w/o the BT. Maybe not exactly what I planned on doing exactly but I just listened on my phone, which of course is punching out just highs, and it has a nice groove. Your thoughts?

cbgb - Thanks to MrFlat for this latest DAW mix, I think it definitely has a nice groove. Only a couple of loose spots on the drums, but still a superior sounding collab for Bandhug's standards. This mix works for me, if you guys are all happy with it as well. Once again Bob, I appreciate your work on this song, whether you feel it's finished or not. Even as it is now, I think it's one of the tightest and best sounding collabs on Bandhug right now. I'm happy either way, whether you want to make improvements or not. Any other thoughts, guys?

@CopyCat : oh, I'd like to give it another go. Maybe after a shot of tequila liquer.

Cane sugar, tequila, coffee. The perfect recipe for recording through headphones. My old ears have a hard time these days with recording like this. I'm not actually playing to the music all the time, I'm playing to the memory of it.

@Bob : Just don't let the collab be a bad influence on you. Especially if you've been sober for a long time. Always drink responsibly.

@Bob : Let me know if you need the BT turned up to play along with while recording. We can always turn it back down afterwards.

Excellent!! What a pleasant surprise to see you here, MrFlat - I have published your latest DAW mix. I like the panning you put on your guitars, and the collab sounds pretty good with the BT turned down. Drums seem to be the weakest link for now, but Bob said he's still working on them. MrFlat, I must thank you again for creating this BT and making my vocal track sound so awesome. I was hoping you would eventually do the guitar tracks, and so glad you did!! Now we have a collab going here! Thank you for this awesome surprise. You must have gotten bored at home ,like I did. I will likely invite you to other collabs, so be ready for that.

Hey guys. Here's a drum track for you, but I want to do it over. It passes, but it needs just a tad more work. With my granddaughter, and going back to work, I've been short on time. This is just to let you know I'm serious and want the job, so don't give it away. Haha.

Nice effort on this, Bob. I'm glad you decided to give it a shot. Hopefully, your tendonitis is feeling better these days. It definitely sounds like you've been working on it, so I gladly invite you to finish your work. This one is coming along nicely. I hope Henry keeps his word and sends us his guitar work, otherwise if someone else steps in who knows it, that would be cool too. Thanks for submitting your work so far. Gladly published to hold the spot for you.
