Per Suzanne Vega: "A few years ago, I used to see this group of children playing in front of my building, and there was one of them, whose name was Luka, who seemed a little bit distinctive from the other children. I always remembered his name, and I always remembered his face, and I didn't know much about him, but he just seemed set apart from these other children that I would see playing. And his character is what I based the song Luka on. In the song, the boy Luka is an abused child—in real life I don't think he was. I think he was just different"

Pete got it and published. I set the volume and panning to the same as on the original. I'm so glad the MIDI performance of the bells you'd performed matched up with the sound design I built for the DX7 synth. That was the magic to finalize the Collab. It truly sounds impressive. This might be one of my fave Collabs since I began on Bandhug. Everything is spot on. Thank you again for all your efforts and working with me on the MIDI volley. Hope we can do it again :)

Anthony, your drumming was so good it should be snared in a rock and roll museum - thanks again so much for the invite. Bill, your bass lines were so smooth and thick they really filled it all out. Rick, your guitar playing was strum believably good. Camille, your vocals really Vegafied the whole performance. Together, you didn’t just cover the song… you…hmmm…I cannot describe it…Love it…..But Just Don’t Ask Me What It Was ! LOL !
