"Name" became the band's first major hit,[3][4] topping both the US Modern Rock Tracks chart and the Album Rock Tracks chart. It also reached number five on the Billboard Hot 100. Hey @CopyCat, I went ahead and finished the drums and bass here. Any final mix suggestions before we mark this complete?

If I had recorded separate tracks for the quieter and the louder vocal parts, it would have been easy to get a balanced mix between the two. My bad., but it's only Bandhug after all. The instruments were all well played, and you did the best you could mixing these tracks. I'm fine with it, overall. My expectations aren't as high these days, as they used to be at Bandhub. Nice job on all the instruments, Man. Let's call it Completed!

@CopyCat : Yes, managing to lower expectations, the key to a happy marriage and also getting @CopyCat ‘s buy in on my drumming, lol

@MikeWalker: Well, clearly you've been playing guitar and bass longer than the drums, but you definitely have drumming potential IMO. I'm sure you realize, you'll naturally improve, the more you play the drums. I was actually pleasantly surprised to see you behind the kit. :)

@CopyCat : Thanks man, I just started in earnest with this experiment in January... hitting some plateaus and all as expected, but I'm enjoying it enough to practice my way through them, I think

Nice work Mike! Great tune. Years ago I did a Tutorial for the solo on this one on Youtube. I winged it. I think it's my most viewed video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?....v=XpnuxrmXMFs&li

@MikeWalker: Lol! That's happened to me before. I was watching a Bass Tutorial and it took me about 5 minutes before I realized it was an old Bandhub friend.

Ironically, the bass guy in the collab (Glen) is the guy who does nice bass youtube tutorials. He is the guy that I was talking about in the previous comment.

Amazing how you can make that electric guitar sound like an acoustic. Beautiful playing, Man. I would love to cover the vocals, if they're open.

@MikeWalker: It's a modeling guitar, can do some interesting stuff. Actually used it because this song is in a crazy alternate tuning that I'm sure would have broken a string if I did it on my real acoustic, lol

@MikeWalker: Yeah, I noticed some open strums in there, which told me the tuning must be different than standard. You played it well, Brother. Thanks for the invite. I'll be practicing and recording in the next day or two. Nothing else going on right now.
