Suggestion: I'm still confused by this button with not clear label : "Apply loaded settings". Apply (where?) loaded (where?) settings. It would simple to replace few words and make it obvious, like "Apply studio settings" or "Apply settings to Studio" depending on what it really does.

@YvesC: it takes what is in the DAW and applies all of the track settings to the studio page. This can be used when you want to load another user's saved mix from the drop down in the DAW then apply it.

Or use it after making all the changes you want in the DAW. I always hit save settings (to save it as my mix), then apply (to update the studio side)

@YvesC: 1983Electric is correct. When you want to use some ones saved mix, you load that mix . Apply loaded just means to apply what the current settings are. So if you have 10 tracks and you mute three and want to hear what that sounds like in the published, Apply loaded. It could say apply current settings but thats a longer worded button.

Thanks for the explanations. Now, a guy knows ...until he'll forgot. But with a clear label, everybody, anytime will know. "Apply DAW to Studio" is shorter than "Apply loaded settings" btw ;)

@YvesC: It does two things....Apply to studio and creates the (Combined - all tracks) daw wav file needed for publish from daw. Maybe it should say "Create wav" only, thats shorter.

I was trying to make "Apply loaded settings" more clear. On my 'user perspective', knowing that it will apply DAW settings to Studio is more important than knowing "behind the scene" wav creation. People complain about complicated interface, I'm trying to suggest something to help making it more simple and clear.

@YvesC: Thats good. I agree. What can we put there on that button that would be more clear? Save all settings? Apply all settings? Im open....

@YvesC: When we update to studio 2 and added the DAW I envisioned studio 3 would be all DAW. And I have strived to get the DAW updated to include video. But haven't been able to do that yet. With the new changes we are getting closer to that studio 3 (all DAW) vision. Whats left that we need to go to studio? Publish from studio, play recorded videos, mark complete, edit collab, notifications check box, download ogg from track slider. So I am open to new ideas....

@YvesC: I am going to change the save settings at the bottom to say "Save mix" and change apply loaded settings to "Save all settings". Does that work?

@admin: "Save mix" next to the drop down with saved mixes, totally make sense.

However for "Save all settings", I understand it saves the settings and made them actual to the whole collab. And to differenciate from the other use 'Save' at the bottom, I think 'Apply' is quite accurate for what it does.

it's just to make it clear, applying what and where. 'Apply current settings' ? Which current, in Studio or in DAW ? I can't find better than 'Apply DAW settings' or 'Apply DAW to Collab'. But, it's just me.

@YvesC: I like this language too. "Apply DAW settings to Studio" like you said, doing what to where?

Thanks for posting this sneak peek video. Looking forward to playing with the new toys. All of the waiting for pages to load still kind of sucks. Bandhub has always required much patience in that area. Also, "Compression" and "Normalize" have always said "Coming soon". At this point, I think it might be best if they said "Maybe eventually". At least that would be honest, since we know it will certainly not be soon.

@CopyCat : Ha ha . Just want you feel like the old place ( the waiting ) Remembering how long some things took.... https://bandhubclub.com/v/aZtx2t https://bandhubclub.com/v/9oTqCE

@CopyCat : We know how to do it ( add normalize and compression) and they are good features. Funds are limited right now. This DAW update I felt was needed. The next update will be IOS compatibility. That is sorely needed. So maybe it should say "Its on the todo list"? .
