Panning effect explained.
Panning can only be done in studio. Meaning only main play in studio and publish from studio will have the panned effect. Daw will not have the panning effect. Nor publish from daw will have the panned effect. Only play and publish from studio will have the effect.

I use panning quite a bit, and always publish from Studio. I stopped publishing from DAW, when I realized it always produces a mono mix with no panning applied. Also, the "Review" for volume changes (including panning) USED TO work, when the squares were centered on the lines (if you follow me). Ever since the squares appear off center (slightly below the lines), the Review option hasn't worked. So now I just go straight to "Save Changes" all the time. Reviewing is not really necessary anyway.

The DAW api we use is an older one. It is called FULL WAVEFORM EDITOR. There is a newer version and I would love to update to the newer version. Just takes DEV $ .The newer version does stereo quite well. And has balance. I was in touch with the creator of this API and she states that she almost added video. If she did add it, that would be our new studio. Still needs effects but I have been looking for a daw that does video. The api we use on the wrench for waveforms slider has a video option but does not have what we need for DAW "drag tool multiple tracks. etc. Here is the updated DAW . http://naomiaro.github.io/wave....form-playlist/web-au

The review probably broke after the last update. I have it on a todo list. I actually never used it....

@admin: Would be nice if we could split tracks into segments the way you can on most home DAWs. And have the ability to delete sections or cut/copy and paste , creating a custom track.

@CopyCat : This api looks great but can not do automation and its only one track at a time. I believe it can do what you want. https://audiomass.co/
