yeah its complete from what i can see, i have had a bit of a hiatus LOL

A volume mix, maybe? drums and guitar are quite hot, IMO. The original also has some synth during chorus. It just depends how close you want it to be to the original. It already sounds good, I believe.

When I select the mix, the DAW isn't loading it. Don't know why.

I don't know either :( Maybe try saving a new mix and see if it shows up?

@dan00075 : I'm doing another mix. I think I understand why it didn't show up. The guitar has a much bigger signal than when I did the mix. That's why i lowered all other instruments.

wheeliesrfun I sent another global mix. You can find it in the DAW in the "Studio settings" menu under "save settings" blue button. You need to select my name in the menu to hear it. If you like it and want to publish it, click on blue buttons "apply loaded settings", and then "publish collab"

@Laurast: im fumbling around in there, but i am also listening through a set of studio monitors which flattens everything

okay i loaded Laurast daw settings and pulled the guitar back a fair bit and increased the bass to make it punchy.

@Matthew Smith: Are you sure? In my mix, the bass was already at the max volume?

Unless you used the boost button?

@Matthew Smith: I think I only used the Boost button on my track. Normally, I work on my tracks offline and upload again. I think I can get a warmer sound if I compress and increase the gain on it, which will avoid the gain rollercoaster. I can work on it tonight if you can wait a bit.

@Laurast: you are doing a great job with it, Laura. I don't sing, but this looks like a difficult song to cover vocal-wise. Pink just makes it look easy.

@dan00075 : Yeah she's very powerful on high notes and I'm not. I know she doubles or triples her vocals, but even if she didn't, I would have done it to add power.
