stubass I have reached the conclusion that my chops are just not up to playing on "Sad Lisa." I am not classically trained and the piano arpeggios are very complex. Rather than do a sloppy job I will bow out and let someone else do it right. I love the song but I have to be honest and humble about it. Thanks for the invite,. I know you will get it done eventually.
stubass, I have not forgotten about this song. I have been working on it between recording other collabs. The keyboard parts are very dense and it is taking a while to learn them. I love this song and I will get it. Just need some time.
Oh, I just noticed that Pete Hanratty is here. Is he going to play the piano? That's cool. If so I will stop learning it.
I just finished 3 other collabs and I am listening to this one now. I really love this song and the album it came from. I have that record burned into my brain ever since it first came out in the 70s. I am trying to figure out what to do with the chorus effect behind the piano. I have a sort of chorus effect piano sound that might work, but I may need to layer another sound on top of the piano. It is nice to have Megasis playing a real violin! I can also add some sampled cello if you want.
puntostar: Grazie, Gianfranco! :-)
