"Soldier of Fortune" is a blues rock ballad written by Ritchie Blackmore and David Coverdale and originally released on Deep Purple's 1974 album Stormbringer. Although Deep Purple has never released the song as a single and it has never placed on the record charts, it has developed a cult following over the years and has been covered by many artists and bands.

@thx1138: Thank you so much for your kind words and your warm welcome! As I’m not playing in a band, I thought I should give "BH2"a new chance. I’m still recording separately but will get a new webcam tomorrow. I hope things will then work and especially that it will be easier.

I'd be glad to do a bass track for this if you don't already have it spoken for.

@thx1138: Here you go. When I was in the DAW, I was hearing some weirdness starting around 2:20, but I was not able to pin it down to an individual track. May have simply been my browser, but figured I'd mention it just in case.

@thx1138: Whatever it was doesn't appear to have affected the finished product, so expect it was just that browser session at this point.

Hey bro. Did you have a drummer in mind? Was just scanning new collabs and laid down a track.Draft it with no worries if you had someone else in mind.

@thx1138: I'm sure it's fine but I can't listen right now. I laid down a quick track and synced it but had to run. There's no gain boost or anything. So use it if you need to.
