@Richard Laguna / The Guitarmonica: Hi Richard . Thank you for taking another shot at the notes , can you give me your Honest opion of the tracks ?

Richard Laguna / The Guitarmonica

@brian mcallister: So far I hear the voices of all the collaborators well, there will be details but in general for me they are good, now, what is needed to give it a final touch is in the mix, adequate volumes with greater detail, for example there is a detail that can be given to the harmonica so that together with the synthesizer it sounds better is to give my harmonica a little reverb effect, and depth that can be done with the functions that exist for each voice but I could not give it to it because I only have the basic permanence here in bandhug also give it equalization and finishing by giving everything a mix that is what it lacks, I do not know if someone can give it an improved mix, I know that sometimes as a musician you do not have a broad knowledge of mixing but try and I know that it can be improved

@Richard Laguna / The Guitarmonica: Hi Richard . Thank you for your time on this . Track #8 is sounding Flat ( +02 31 119 )

Richard Laguna / The Guitarmonica

@brian mcallister: I've already listened to my track 8, Brian, but I don't understand the term you're referring to, that says it sounds flat. Do you suggest I repeat track 8? But what is "flat" about track 8? Is "flat" thin? Should I turn up the volume or repeat it louder? Can you please tell me how to correct this?

@Richard Laguna / The Guitarmonica: Hi Richard , sorry for the delay in answering you last message . My reply would take time to explaine . Your playing and Talent are one of the best here oh Bandhug . I had a closer listen to you Second track and have established your Harmonica is Tuned to 436 Hzs . Our standard tunning is 440Hzs . Hence thats why your sounding FLAT , meaning out of tune . Most cell Phones have Tunning standards on there , or you can use an APP to indicate your Tunning . Redoing the track will get the same results . Its not uncommon for Songs and Movie Thems to have different tunning requirements . I have alterered my tunning with some Collabs here on Bandhug . Please dont take this as an insult to your Great playing , As you and I we have collaborated before sucessfully . Some members may not realise the slight difference in Tunning , . Since I tune myGuitar to 440hzs , I should notice . Anyway , I am not sure if you can find one of your Harmonica in standard Pitch . brian

@brian mcallister: ah ok Brian! Yes, I understand what you're telling me and what you're explaining is interesting to me and of great value to take into account. I want to be honest, I didn't notice that detail that is important in music when it is played and recorded here in Bandhug. I want and wish to be honest. It happens that I play in the street. I live off what people give me playing the harmonica on the street, that's where all my living expenses come from. Because of my age, I can't find a job here in Mexico, and if there is one, the salary is still very low. I play the harmonica that way because I play it a lot in the street. If I were to dedicate myself to something else, I wouldn't have the time to dedicate to the harmonica as I have in recent years. It's worth mentioning that the harmonica gets better and better depending on the time you dedicate to it. For example, the great American harmonica players that I admire, the great skill, ability, and all the school they have in Rock, I noticed that they play at a great level and their dedication to their instrument is different in time and economy, they can play freely without Being economically pressured, they are freer and more relaxed. They come home and can sit on the terrace quietly to practice, having clothes, food, a car, education, vacations on the beaches and sometimes on the beaches of Mexico. and in the ones I sometimes don't go and I don't even know then I tell myself you need to work more on everything, what I tell you is not a justification it is just a comment, now, you know? the truth is I use economic harmonicas, cheap, Chinese and from what you tell me I feel that there is the defect of the tuning, my harmonica ends up being ordinary because the reed does not provide the correct tuning like a high-end fine harmonica, I have harmonicas with standard Richter tuning but cheap to say the least hehehe a tutorial from a Spanish harmonica player says this way there are harmonica players who play very well but they play with crap! I see those portfolios of those great harmonica players that when they open them and see what beautiful great harmonicas and microphones they have, believe me it is a dream for me to have them, but you know? ? I sometimes have a mixed feeling which is the following: if I were to have a portfolio like those I'm telling you about, I don't know whether to be sad or happy because I don't know how to explain it because when I dedicate myself to playing the harmonica in the street and being accompanied by cheap harmonicas where I express many personal feelings at times, I wonder what the difference is between a fine harmonica and this one I have in my hand? With respect to the real feelings I experience on the street seeing so many things, then I believe that my tuning is because of my crappy harmonica, thank you friend for what you tell me and share but this is my truth, why lie?
