    Lyrics from https://songmeanings.com/songs/view/92481/

Summer's gone, day's spent with the grass and sun
I don't mind to pretend I do seems really dumb

I rise as the morning comes
    Crawling through the blinds
I shouldn't be up at this time
But I can't sleep with you there by my side

Wake up it's a beautiful morning
The sun shining for your eyes
    Wake up it's so beautiful
For what could be the very last time

Twenty five, don't recall a time I felt this alive,
So wake up boo, there's so many thing's for us to do

It's early so take your time
Don't let me rush you please
I know I was up all night
I can do anything, anything, anything

Wake up it's a beautiful morning
The sun shining for your eyes
    Wake up it's so beautiful
For what could be the very last time

Wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up
Wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up

But you can't blame me now for the death of someone
But you can't blame me now for the death of someone
But you've gonna say, what you want to say
You have to put the death in everything

    (Wake up)
Wake up it's a beautiful morning
The sun shining for your eyes (wake up)
    Wake up it's so beautiful
For what could be the very last time (wake up)

Wake up it's a beautiful morning
The sun shining for your eyes (wake up)
    Wake up it's so beautiful
For what could be the very last time (wake up)

Owenks tudan 1tricktony junglejim - Excellent work boys ! This one is excellent ! Bandhug is great not only for hearing songs for the first time (in my case) but also covering such fine songs with talented fellow Bandhuggers !

Owenks Hi Owen. Sorry for so many additional tracks! They really layered the harmonies on that middle eight, so I tried to get it as close to what I could hear from the record. If it helps on your end, the light blue shirts are the middle 8 harmonies, purple shirts are the "Wake Up" part. I also redid one of my BV tracks due to a bum vocal note! ha! Sounds better now - these are in the orange shirts. I also tried to balance the volumes on the harmonies and backing vocals as evenly as possible while not distracting from the lead vocals and instruments, but feel free to adjust as you see fit. Do I need to "submit" my changes in the DAW in order for you to hear the mix? I didn't hit "submit" in case it messed something up. But if you need me to do so, just say the word. Sorry, I'm not as familiar with submitting mixes in bandhug yet. I usually just make adjustments with the wrench tools. Anyway, hope I didn't get too carried away! Such a great song. Thanks again!

Hi Tony! Thank you! Yes please "submit" your changes in DAW otherwise they get lost. i.e. click on the "Save settings" button (that has the title "Submit time and Volume changes" if you hover over it).

I also usually use the wrench tool but if you have a lot of tracks (as in this one), then i you "Save settings" then the collab organiser also has a button "Apply loaded settings" which copies the time and volume settings from the DAW into the main studio settings i.e. it does the equivalent of clicking on the wrench tool and changing the volume and the time for each track.

Sorry my mistake. If you also use the wrench then your setting don't get lost. They sound great! Wow - a lot of work. Well done Tony. Thanks a lot.

@Owen Kellie-Smith: ah! ok, I wasn't familiar with what it looks like on the collab organizer's side. It makes sense that it wouldn't be helpful to have to pull in the settings for each track individually. Fortunately, it sounds like you were able to apply loaded settings even though I hadn't submitted a saved copy in the DAW? That's good to know too! I was worried about undoing anyone else's settings or your prior mix. Glad you like the tracks! I had a lot of fun putting the puzzle together on this one! The lead vocalist sounds a bit like Glenn Tilbrook from Squeeze who are one of my all time favorites. Thanks again for the invite!

@1tricktony: I didn't have to click on "Apply loaded settings" as you had already applied them by using the wrench tool. I think it works like this: anything you've set via the wrench tool is available to everyone. But you can only change the time and volume on your own tracks via the wrench tool. Anything you've set in the DAW is only visible to you -- until you save it - then it is is visible to just you and the organiser. If the organiser clicks "Apply loaded settings" then the DAW settings become the new settings (as if via the wrench tool) and so become visible to everyone. You can (submit) time and volume changes on other people's tracks via the DAW and "Save settings". It won't undo anyone's settings until the organiser apllies them -- well that's their look out. You can's mess up anyone's settings unless you are the organiser,

@Owen Kellie-Smith: Wow! Thank you so much, Owen, for such a helpful clarification on how mixes are submitted and loaded. It makes so much sense now and will really help me going forward! Very much appreciated!

@Owen Kellie-Smith: Ah! Up the Junction! Such a classic. I've been obsessed with Squeeze since Argybargy! Still making great music too! Glenn is also an amazing guitar player! ps. How cool is Jools in this video? ha!

Owenks Wow! Thanks so much! Glad you like the vocals. I was a little worried about that key change at the end, to be honest! haha. Thanks also for the volume adjustments! Sounds really nice in the mix! You may already have someone lined up for backing vocals and the middle eight part, but if you don't I'd be happy to work on them for you. Either way, glad to be part of this collab! Thanks again!

@Owen Kellie-Smith: Hi Owen. Would you mind bringing the backing track back into the mix so I can record and match the backing vocals to the original? I think that will help make sure my timing is spot on. Thanks!

@Owen Kellie-Smith: @Owen Kellie-Smith: Hi Owen. Actually, on second thought I think I have the timing down so no need to pull in the backing track. Here are a couple of rough background vocal tracks. I think the timing is good but a few bum notes, so I'll get it better over the weekend. Thought i'd leave them here for the moment if you want to take a listen. Getting closer! You guys all sound terrific so I want to make sure my part is strong enough. Thanks again.

I have taken the liberty of publishing it but please (everyone) feel free to add or remove any tracks (and / or submit a DAW to a different mix) if you want but I think it sounds pretty great! Thank you Gents!
