Thanks John..had you ever heard this track before? I found it in the early 80s on a 1966 Ventures LP called TV Themes

Sounds great guys! I added a silly sound effects track. Just remove it if you don't like it. There was an empty slot in our 2x3 tiling so I figured I'd add a similar SFX track like in the original.

I submitted an experimental keys track. Let me know your thoughts. I'm not sure if it fits the vibe. There's some pitch shifted vocal effects in there that I didn't cover. Hopefully, the few modulations and effect that I threw in there will help to fill that gap partially.

it's pretty low down in the mix it's a bit hard to tell. I am wondering what was around in 1966 that they would have used? Perhaps a Vox or Farisa? The accents are spot on and they certainly add value to the otherwise noticeable gaps.

@Revup67: Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. I did an unextensive search on the song's keys but yielded nothing quickly. So I created a patch by ear with a Vox, some phaser, tremolo, (volume controlled by expression pedal) and 2 more layers of synths with bending and modulation, all going through lots of delay and reverb. As for the vocal effects, I think someone would have to record their voice and using pitch shifting and lots of reverb/delay (easily done in an offline DAW).

@Eric (@pcderic) : very nice work on both accounts..weird I had done the same. After going through the arturia I found the Vox and Fafisa and noted they had added tremelo, phaser and a few others to their presets. Looks like you hit the nail on the head. Nice work on the instrumental vocals too :) I've got pitch shifing in Melodyne if you want me to apply to your vocal trac. (I could try)..its certainly someone's voice sped up with a lot of echo.

@Revup67: No need. For the vocal effects, I did the pitch shifting and all of the other effects in Logic Pro (noise gate, compression, reverb). Thanks!
