@Carol Grand: When I compare tracks I feel like there isn't a huge difference but when I hear it in the mix it sounds a lot better to me

@Carol Grand: The mic I got is supposed to be best for live, but it was a good deal so I bought it. Thanks for steering me in that direction Carol!!

@CybRGibson: i have to admit the dynamic also captures a little less of the flaws in my vocals hehe condensers used to frustate me quite a bit :P they are amazing for really clean singers, but im more of a fun party karaoke singer haha

@Carol Grand: 100%! I have epic flaws in my vocals and the condenser got them all. This mic makes me feel like a singer XD

@CybRGibson: it might be also that im using a dynamic mic and you are using a condenser one I think? I have never been able to use a condenser mic, tried but I always sound distorted because I yell a lot singing lol so a dynamic one kinda sounds a bit better with my loud voice, at least from what I tried with mics in the past

but my knowledge about music and the tech for it is 0 hehehehe

@Carol Grand: Yes I do use a condenser mic. I didn't really know what I was buying. Maybe I need to go shopping again :-)

@CybRGibson: most people tell me condensers are better, it was never a fit for me hehe but im not the right person to guide on you this since I sincerely have a big lack of knowledge, I just use dynamics because they are the only mics that work for me.

@CybRGibson: this is what the internet says: The difference between a dynamic and a condenser microphone is a dynamic microphone is better for capturing loud, strong sounds (drums or loud vocals), particularly in a live setting, whereas a condenser microphone is used to capture more delicate sounds and higher frequencies (studio vocals for example), particularly in a studio setting.

@Carol Grand: I have published them and it sounds good. I am seeing some very high peaks in the DAW which could mean 2 things, the gain (input) level is a little too high or if you also have compression on your mixer, that can help level the high and lower volume peaks to be closer. I know you are just now coming back to recording again
