"White Rabbit" is a song written by Grace Slick and recorded by the American rock band Jefferson Airplane for their 1967 album Surrealistic Pillow. It draws on imagery from Lewis Carroll's 1865 book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and its 1871 sequel Through the Looking-Glass.

It was released as a single and became the band's second top-10 success, peaking at number eight on the Billboard Hot 100. The song was ranked number 478 on Rolling Stone's list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time in 2004, number 483 in 2010, and number 455 in 2021 and appears on The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll.

Fantastic work, everyone. This has got to be one of the more challenging songs for any vocalist to sing well, with the way the pitch just keeps building higher and higher, and CopyCat really nailed it--as did you all!

Fantastically accurate drums and bass additions! I'm very pleased with the outcome of this collab, and thrilled to be a part of it. I was amazed to see that no timing adjustments needed to be made at all. How lucky that was! I like the current mix with the BT muted. Plenty of volume on the vocal, could even come down some IMO. As far as mixing goes, all other levels seem about right to me. Pretty good for a mono mix. Of course, if you wanted to spice up the mix, you could have a listen to the BT on the main studio page, where original stereo effects can be heard, and perhaps consider copying their panning work as well. They mixed audio much differently back in those days, when stereo was a much newer concept. For instance, you can hear the drums panned completely to the left, and an echo of the drums with reverb on the right. Then they put the main rhythm guitar track on the right side with accompanying guitars on the left. But mono also sounds fine, for a BHug collab. Just an observation I made to the BT. You decide, if you wanna go that far with the final mix, Frank.

Not quite mono, guitars are totally stereo in this collab :)

@YvesC: The only stereo spreading I'm hearing is coming from the BT which is currently included in the mix. It could be that Frank intends to keep some BT in the mix, specifically for that stereo effect, which is also cool. Certainly an easier way to achieve some stereo effect in the mix, without applying any panning under wrench. I respect Frank's mixing, how ever he decides to do it.

@thx1138: Ahh 'Slick', I like that... and done with 'Grace'? :-) I actually surprised myself with this performance, complete with nervous vibrato. And only a single take. I'm happy with it, and glad to read positive feedback. Happy to have the opportunity. I haven't checked the mix yet, but I will...
