What a nice video, fun idea to discuss all the different finalists and pretty cool that you know a little about every musician, that is impressive! And I got to learn some new things!

Thank you for all the sweet words Dennis, really appreciate it!! My name is a bit hard to pronounce in English haha, it is pronounced as Mar (like in March) - jo (like in yoghurt) - lein (like line) =) Thanks for everything you do around here, Bandhug is a great place for us all <3

When was the new Bandhug Theme Song recorded? It sounds so professional! Who sang on it?

I was wondering if someone was going to ask/notice. I ran the lyrics through AI for different genre. You can find them here. https://drive.google.com/drive..../folders/1R2WRebx_Qf

This video is genuinely gratifying to watch. It’s a wonderful way to recognize the quality work we musicians have accomplished together.

Everyone has a lot of time and effort invested in their creations here. Without a community it would fall apart. Would love to hear what others think in their own words.

@Stephen Sable: My take on the whole Bandhug enchilada isn't just about creating Collabs and making music. Making friendships has been just as rewarding. This has lead to phone calls that include planning, mixing, the approach, redos, and the production as well as the chemistry. There's loads of human interaction with other musicians (if one chooses to do so) which is where most of the benefit is derived. Of course the final "baked" product is the goal post.

Hopefully not too boring! I was not born with the gift of gab.

@Stephen Sable: PS the Sabbath tune was from their 5th LP 1973, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath. They also played this live at Cal Jam '74 which was a live telecast across the US at the time. It's on YT. Hot Pico played the lead note for note.

@Revup67: There's so many Black Sabbath songs that I see here that are "new to me". Mom had the Paranoid album on vinyl and the Dio era is still a mystery to me.

@Stephen Sable: hope you get to hear these 3 LP's in full: "Vol.4", "Master Of Reality" and "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath". They do not disappoint. The Dio period was interesting but wan't a fan being weened on Ozzy was a tough change. Dio started out with a band called Elf they didn't make much headway. Things improved when he joined Rainbow with Blackmore. Out of the tousands of Hard Rock (not metal - that term didn't exist as a genre in the early 70s) the one that takes the take is Lucifer's Friend by Lucifer's Friend featuring John Lawton on vocals. It's the cream of the crop and you can hear how Zep plagerized the Immigrant Song it was from a Lucifer's Friend track called "Ride The Sky".
