The song was first released in 1976 on his album This One's For You, and was issued as a single in 1977 where it reached the number one spot on both the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, and the U.S. Adult Contemporary chart. It is ranked as the 37th greatest U.S. hit of 1977. It became his third of five gold records.
Despite the optimism suggested by the song's title, the narrator is actually ruminating on the fact that he and his ex-lover have finally found happiness and fulfillment—though not with each other. They have, indeed, "made it," but apart, not together, songwriter Will Jennings commented.

This is what I mean, if you click on Play here:
https://bandhug.com/watch/BAat....FYvbaynWd3T&rl=4
And click on the right bottom corner icon to make it full screen, you'll see the video doesn't reach the side borders.
Can you see that?
That's because it was render to aspect radio 4:3 last time you published it, because the Backing track is 4:3, where it looks more like a square than a rectangle.
I can explain you how to avoid that, and publish the video 16:9 (wide screen)
Stubass, It's been a year, but I have a suggestion. Originally, all our tracks were uploaded using aspect ratio of 16:9 (widescreen), but the back track video is 4:3. Because of that, all our videos are reformatted to 4:3, almost like a square, and it looks really bad. Since the collab is completed, you should remove the old 4:3 backtrack or at least change its position, so it is not the the first track, if you republish the collab, the system will use 16:9 (widescreen) when rendering the new version. You'll see, the final video will look much better, real widescreen.
direi.....niente male!!!!
I synced and did the general volumes of everything. It seems to me that this is much better. In my DAW. If you can publish this version. Try to feel.
Maurizio: Grazie. Suona molto meglio ora :-)
This is how I reviewed my Piano track: I went to the DAW, I clicked SOLO to the Backing Track, set the volume to 70%,
then I clicked SOLO to my Piano track, setting the volume to 50%, so they are more or less the same volume and finally clicked PLAY.
From what I listened, my track is pretty much in good Sync.
Beyond the parts, the problem is that the various instruments should be better synchronized because it seems a bit out of time. Excuse me that's what I feel.
Ok, since I'm recording today, I added another track, with strings, let me know what do you think, I might add another pad with strings
Finally, added the Piano track, sorry for the delay, last week at work very busy and once I got home not in the mood to play. Let me know what do you think. I'll work on the Strings section.
It seems that it hasn't worked since the last publication.
stubass track for you
Stubass, I've being practicing the piano (very long song by the way) and I'm almost ready to record it sometime week for sure.
Megasis: Welcome aboard, Max! Please don't forget about Africa--thx
Stubass great bass! Even without the backing track it's now one piece.
Maurizio: Grazie :-)
