@joeykaraoke I took the liberty of remixing this song and republishing. I hope you dig. Existing mix was super low volume and muddy. Mrcguitartab's tracks sounded kind of murky and very low volume, so I boosted gain (3×) , cut 250Hz a bit, rolled off low end and boosted high end. Result is much brighter and louder. Increasing gain on acoustic guitars allowed all other levels to come up.some. Then I tweaked EQ on all my BV tracks. Then I tweaked EQ on bass (slight notch at 250Hz to remove muddiness, boost mids to make punchier). Then I remixed the whole thing. There's more I could do, but to my ears this was a big improvement. Rock on!!!
Thanks for letting me crash the party Joe! Always a pleasure to sing with you. Rock 'n' roll!
If you want, you could try boosting the levels of mrcgguitartab's tracks by using the Gain/ Boost Levels button (under toolbar icon for his tracks in Studio Main). Then you'd have more room to work in balancing his tracks against thx1138's track (which has much higher levels). OTOH, you seem to have made a pretty good mix as is, so maybe it's not worth the trouble.
One more mixing suggestion: CyberBass ' rocking bassline would sound clearer (less muddy) if you use the EQ tool (under toolbar icon for that track i in Studio Main) to lower the 250Hz band a bit. Then maybe try boosting the 500Hz band just a bit. You might be pretty stoked at how much that little tweak cleans up the overall sound. Just a thought. Rock on!
Weird how code keeps inserting itself into my sync numbers. Just ignore the and bits.
