The highest-charting and best-selling version in the United States was recorded and released in 1981 by country-rock singer Juice Newton for her album Juice. Newton re-interpreted the song at the suggestion of Steve Meyer, who promoted Capitol Records singles and albums to radio stations and felt that a version of the song by Newton would be a strong candidate for airplay. Newton stated that she would never have thought of recording "Angel of the Morning", even though she immediately recognized the song when Meyer played it for her: "I [had not been] really aware of that song because...when [it] was popular I was listening to folk music and R&B and not pop, and that was a very pop song.

I can not apply my own mix or I would to it. Only the owner of the collab and a few people that Dennis has granted special privileges to can do that. Stuart I can tell you how to do it if you want.

I added cello, Stu. Don't even listen to it until you go to DAW view and apply my mix! The cello came out horribly out of sync. I spent pver an hour getting to where it is now.

Yep. Totally out of sync and frankly I wouldn't even know where to begin to fix it. Perhaps dennisski can help and/or maybe he can suggest someone who can. Regardless, thx for joining in

@stubass: Stu - Michael and I are on it - you want to listen to MichaelDixon mix, NOT the studio mix...I'll take care of this for you..not to worry (with Michael)

I added Rhodes piano with chorus; I think it sounds pretty close. It came out way out of sync, but if you apply the mix I saved. It's just about perfect. I didn't change any volumes. If anything stands out as a clunker, let me know, and I'll do it over.

@Revup67: Thanks Anthony. I was about to go into a long explanation of how to apply someone else’s DAW mix.

@stubass: not great and I'm no PeteH or Michael Dixon but have an arsenal of instruments by which I can add value to a collab. Look up The Moody Blues collab I had done of the Story In Your Eyes..I added the entire choir and mellotron or Different Drum by the Stone Poneys where I had completed the string section. In some cases I might need help with the notes, if I can get those then I can possibly do the part if its easy enough. I also worked with Pete H on Luka to achieve the Bell sound. He pplayed the keyboards, sent me the MIDI file and then I had custom designed the exact sound on the Luka track..anyway, hope that helps thanks.
