Bandhug Girly Collab #10 - My Head & My Heart - Ava Max

Hi Margarex I am not sure how to do that in the daw window, I do know in studio mode, you can click the spanner on your track and there is a volume slider in there :-) You sound fantastic here, but yeah, too low in volume.

@Grant : after you click the spanner, I normally click on "Gain." The aduio can be boosted in volume by 0.5 every time you click on "Boost Audio."

The volume of the lead vocal sounds fine to me.

@Protis: Thanks Alan thats a great tip, I have turned my drums down now as they were booming, CyberBass are you doing the mixing on this one? Just looking at the invites.

Margarex - I will check out your levels. fyi - the best place to set your levels is when recording, to get the best possible track. Your levels should be just going into the red, and then you turn it down just a little so you don't clip. That will give you good levels every time.

@Grant : Hey Grant - yes Frank is very busy these days - thx1138 will want me to handle the levels I'm sure.

Margarex - Hey Marga, I did an overall re-mix. The trouble is that we don't keep our instruments in their "lane" on Hug. Bass/Drums, Keys/guitar all fight for the same space, and it gets crowded. I think you're levels sound good. Your BT seems to be mixed in with your lead vox , which is panned to the left. I prefer vox to be centered, but that's just me. You can load my mix in DAW to hear it, but will have to wait for Frank to get home from work to publish it...

@Margarex: This was a very nice surprise. I would like to publicly state that the honor is truly all mine. It's not like I deserve hazard pay for listening to your well tuned expertly orchestrated singing voice. And that's before I get my hands on it! It's the least I can do seeing as you set the ball rolling and invited me to check out this website and you were the only one able to inspire me to release a song before my recording media became obsolete or extinct along with the dinosaur using it. Also let it be known that our Marga does not accept pitch doctored tracks of her voice unless it's necessary to set the tone like we did with Ava Max. So Marga appears to be running late it won't take long to figure out why. If I am involved she usually has her tracks to me within 48 hours you inviting her. It is I that  spendz the timez.
