This song, from their eponymous 2001 record, simply kicks arse! Twenty years on it still feels fresh and emotionally relevant. Noisy, fast, hard, full of turbocharged angst and longing. This song is a beautiful, agonizing, soul-baring howl at the moon offered from one generation to the next. Garage rock at its most eloquent, beaten into the floor with a sledgehammer. Just four chords and the truth!

Well compadres de rock 'n' roll, I'm feeling pretty good about our current mix. If anyone wants to add or change anything then please let me know now. Otherwise I'll call this one complete. Thanks everyone for your enthusiasm for this project. The more I listen to this the more I like it. You all brought emotional authenticity and guts and sweat to your performances. Y'all are serious garage rock animals, and I mean that in the best possible sense. I think we found another reason for living. THE CHURCH OF ROCK 'N' ROLL ROCKS ON!

OK CybeRGibson, I downloaded your bass track and edited by replacing your first two measures of the Bridge with a copy of the next two measures of the Bridge. So now you go to the hard D two measures earlier than before (as God intended). Hope you don't mind. I could have bugged you to re-record but it was one small fix in an otherwise very worthy performance. And now the Bridge kicks even more arse! Also did a bit of noise reduction and added a little compression. Adjusted sync a bit. Dropped the Backing Track into Drafts. And published new mix! Sounds thoroughly badass now. Rock 'n' roll!

I recorded better guitar tracks. Moved old ones to Drafts. Added a little reverb and pan to vocals. Boosted vocal levels a bit. New mix published.

Surferbeto - Thanks for taking that bass intro. Tried again and it eludes me. Guitars sound great!
