"Couldn't Get It Right" is a 1976 hit song by the British band Climax Blues Band, featured on their album Gold Plated. The song peaked at #3 on the US Billboard Hot 100 in 1977 and #10 on the UK Singles Chart. It was written about the grind of touring in America, specifically searching for hotel signs (like Holiday Inn) at night.

5-15-26 - Drum track added with overdubbed Cowbell (added as a separate track in my local DAW for the drum/cowbell combined.) side note - Mike, did a complete start from scratch Mix..boosted Arejay's backing, separated several center channel instruments for a nice combined product and plenty of breathing room for all tracks.
