"Feel a Whole Lot Better" (often formally titled "I'll Feel a Whole Lot Better") is a jangly, upbeat rock song famously covered by Tom Petty on his 1989 debut solo album, Full Moon Fever. Originally written by Gene Clark, the track was first recorded and released by the American folk-rock band The Byrds in 1965

Hi Linda, thanks for accepting the invite. I think your voice will be great with Joey !
Track in studio. Thanks for the invite! Nice work gents!
Very cool song choice. In fact I am currently reading the book "The Byrds Timeless Flight Revisited: the Sequel " by Johnny Rogan (700 pages) a fantastic read by the way. According to the book this was only a B Side and was the flip side of All I Really Want To Do which was the Byrds second single. However Cher's (Sonny and Cher) team unscrupulously recorded the Byrds at Ciro's in Hollywood and dishonestly released All I Really Want To Do first which toppled the Byrds 45 as cher's version made the Billboard Top 20. Needless to say Columbia began pushing I'll Feel A Whole Lot Better as an alternate hit. This IMHO was the best track on Full Moon Fever by Tom Petty. Good work gents! More jingle jangle :)
Hey Bob, thanks for getting the drum track. You nailed it ! Appreciate the time and talent.
