"Funny How Time Slips Away" is a song written by Willie Nelson and first recorded by country singer Billy Walker. He wrote the same week he wrote Crazy and first major release in 1962 was recorded by Elvis Presley. More recently covered by Dave Mathews who sang it as a tribute to Willie at his 90th birthday celebration. This is the Dave Mathews version.

Joey...You got me giving this another listen. Mix sounds good and I think you're the only person in BH to take on Dave Mathews vocals ! I added some reverb to my main riff guitar and time to mark this one complete ! Could not believe this was two years ago and thanks Rick

Joey...hope all is well. I made a lot of adds to keep the feel of the song the same, while trying to smooth out those unpredictable synchopated timeing changes that Dave Mathews put in this live version...which I still like best. Lynns keys really helped, then I played some guitar to her keys. Anyway...almost there with this one. Let me know what you think of the mix.
