"Hotel California" is a song by American rock band the Eagles, released as the second single of their 1976 album of the same name on February 22, 1977. The song was written by Don Felder (music), Glenn Frey, and Don Henley (lyrics), featuring Henley on lead vocals and concluding with a 2-minute-12-second-long electric guitar solo performed by Felder and Joe Walsh, in which they take turns playing the lead before harmonizing and playing arpeggios together towards the fade-out.

The song is one of the best-known recordings by the band, and in 1998 its long guitar coda was voted the best guitar solo of all time by readers of Guitarist. The song was awarded the Grammy Award for Record of the Year in 1978. The meaning of the lyrics of the song has been discussed by fans and critics ever since its release. The Eagles themselves described the song as their "interpretation of the high life in Los Angeles".In the 2013 documentary History of the Eagles, Henley said that the song was about "a journey from innocence to experience ... that's all

Hi Stu...my high guitar track sounded a little "bell like" so made a few adjustments and also pulled back on the strumming to synch with the dynamics of this version. New track loaded and also remixed and panned the guitar tracks...so give the mix a listen. My main issue is not getting the tone/FX I'd like with the set up I have. Might have to spend some $$!

Hi Stu...some acoustic guitar to listen to. On the short intro piece..duplicated tracks and offset the synch to get a little chorus effect. There is also a second rythm track an octave higher to fill in. Anyway, use if and what works. No harm if your looking for something different. Thanks for the invite, also nice job on the bass ! Not easy for most !

@stubass: Stu, replaced a guitar track and saved a mix for the guitars I did. Was trying to get the right EQ using BH tools, but they are not that good and got a little muddy, so may work on that track in an audo app and re-import. For now will leave as is with the saved mix for you to work with.
