I'll Be Over You is a song by the Rock band Toto written by Steve Lukather, the guitarist of the band.
The song, coming from the 1986 album Fahrenheit, is among the best known of the group. The voice of Michael McDonald also appears in the backing vocals of the single.
The single debuted at eleventh place on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, for 2 consecutive weeks it was at first place on the adult contemporary chart, the second Toto song to end up on this chart (the first was I Won't Hold You Back in 1983 ).
