Southern rock band Blackberry Smoke covered Wet Willie’s 1974 Billboard hit, "Keep On Smilin'". This dynamic collaboration features original Wet Willie frontman Jimmy Hall providing lead vocals and harmonica. This version for Bandhug is absent the extended jam session of 8 minutes that can be listen to on YouTube link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gXQXukq6wqw&list=RDgXQXukq6wqw&start_radio=1

Anthony, Bill, and Mark...I had some technical challenges with publishing...had about 20 tracks in drafts, but the primary problem was somehow the BT was over 400mb and all that over the limits of BH to publish. So had to do some rebuilding. Anyway, each of you had given me a mix, so give this a listen and let me know or save a mix as you intended for your track. So far sure beat my expectations. Im reaching out to female vocalist for the harmony's. Thanks all

TheIohTI think the mix sounds goody.. The oonly drawbback I'ved files seen with large files idls that it takes them longer to load. I've had a collab with class to 50 tracks and a huge hacking track. Check out “Strawberry Fields Forever.” Copy Cat and I worked on that forever. The only problem we had was waiting for it to load. I don’t know f the theoretical limit of file size or track numbers north you can’t have that n Bandhug. Dennis, any comment?

Redid the vocals with a little more reverb and delay. Sent the old track to drafts and saved a mix suggestion. Sounds great everybody.

Bill, noticed you added the bass...love it. Nice slides up the fretboard and perfect synchrony. Really appreciate you jumping in on this vintage Wet Willie tune.

SixStringRick I'm sending you my harmonica track for the solo in the middle of this upbeat song; please let me know if there are any issues. Cheers to all my fellow musicians!

Richard. thought that work on the harp was right on and like what you did. After being at this for 5-6 years, first one we did together and appreciate the time and energy to getting a quality instrumental for this tune. Thanks again, and although my wife also plays harmonica, will call on you again ! Rick

Great playing as always Richard. There are a few Harmonica notes at the beginning of the song, maybe you could record those too?

@Rick : Oh, absolutely! I’d love to join in on a future collaboration. Everything happening here on Bandhug—and the great music being played—is just fantastic. I only just saw your message because my internet connection was down for a couple of days where I live, but I’m here now. It’s a pleasure playing and collaborating with you all!

Hey Mark...Wow, I just admire you jumping in on this challenging vocal...and you did it justice. Appreciate the time and talent and Im feeling much better about being able to get this one completed with the rest of the band members now that we got your great vocals in the mix.
