PeteH hi Pete, I am having trouble identifying the track. Did you submit an additional track? Or did you replace an existing track?

It sounds good @Pete Hanratty. I just submitted a volume suggestion for your track to adjust with the others. Daniel, use it if you like it, but you choose the mix ;)

Laurast hi Laura, as we agreed, I have published again. Please take a look/listen when you have some time and let me know if you wish to make any changes. To me, it sounds great and I think we only need a little help with some choir synth from Pete. Let me know what you think. :-)

Hello. So I completed a few tracks with a mix, not sure it's exactly the same. I didn't sing the BV without vocals because some were done by the keys. Let me know if it's OK or if you need me to complete more. I'm not very satisfied because it's not my comfortable range at all, but not sure I can do better. Maybe I'll change the mix after publishing because I can't arese an old mix on a track.

Hi Laura, thank you very much for your wonderful tracks. I see you adjusted volume levels to other tracks and I think I agree with your mix, so I will publish for now and have a closer listen tonight when I have better headphones for listening. Thanks for your help. You sound great! :-)

@dan00075 : Thank you. Yes I did because I wasn't very loud. I didn't touch the bells levels. There is still the big bug on the robot track. Yesterday, I couln't erase the reverb on it in the DAW. That's why the harmonies were globally sounding very weird. I thought publishing the tracks would resolve the issue, but another one appears. Now it's distored, even when I put the EQ back in normal on this track. In my mix settings, it sounds normal, but in yours not (in the DAW, it's very loud audio and visual). Yesterday, the DAW was normal, but the studio main, very loud. That's why it was impossible to mix correctly yesterday. Now that the main is normal, I'm gonna ignore the DAW and propose to pan my track, but the issue is not fixed yet.

@dan00075 : Well, I panned, tried to cut the robot vocals in the main, but impossible. Still horribly loud.

@Laurast: Hi Laura, I do not have much experience with reverb in Studio Main. My understanding is that it is a destructive change once you apply it. Meaning that you cannot remove it, so you should download your track before you apply reverb to it. At least, that was the status when it was first introduced. I don't know if Dennis has made any improvements to make it a reversible effect. I will listen again later tonight and see if I can tune things up a bit. Personally, I prefer dry tracks and then I can add reverb offline in Audacity and propose the changes to you before publishing and that way, we can always go back to the original dry track. Of course, if you prefer to add effects yourself in Bandhug then my recommendation is that you back up your original track before applying any changes.

@Laurast: The published collab will carry the levels from either, DAW or Studio Main depending on how it was published and only the collab organizer can publish. I published it from your DAW mix, so the current published collab is what you saved in DAW. Panning is not possible in DAW, but you probably already know this. I will have a look at Studio Main to see if any panning is present later this evening, but my understanding is that only the collab organizer can make changes in Studio Main, but maybe I am wrong. In any case, I think it is going to be very challenging for you to try to set panning on multiple tracks when you can only listen to the full collab in Studio Main. This is why panning is usually a task for the organizer. Any panning you try to apply will only be audible in Studio Main, I believe, and Studio Main adds a large amount of gain to all tracks because people complained that the sound was too low in the early days. For panning, my workflow is: Set all levels in DAW and publish from DAW, then in Studio Main, set panning and publish from Studio Main ensuring the "Use DAW Mix" checkbox is selected, or whatever it is called. This gives me the "correct" volume level from DAW plus the panning from Studio Main without the extra gain from Studio Main.

Hello everybody ! Good job so far ! I gave it a shot with the 1st half of the song. I still need to memorize the end and find the backing vocals, but I just could do a few. I still have a cold and tired voice in the highs. I propose a mix to sync and I added reverb and EQ.

Sounds great so far, Laura. I submitted your mix. Thank you! and I look forward to the remaining part when you are ready. Get well soon! :-)
