The Metric song "Black Sheep" included on the soundtrack is said by Haines to be like a caricature of Metric, that "aspects of the song, the electro aspects of the band, and the abstract lyrical visualizations, are extreme examples of certain aspects of [the band]". Godrich noted that because of this the song "was perfect for this film. It's not Metric. It's a shadow of Metric."[1] Music writer Kirk Hamilton, of Kotaku, notes the differences in Larson and Haines's versions, saying that Larson's take is "sassier and a bit less rocking, and in that way, more appropriate to Envy's character";[22] Aoife Fealy for The Arcade wrote that Haines's vocals have a "star-gazy grunge edge", compared to Larson's "suave and sultry vocals" as Envy.[23] The Metric instrumental for the track that is used in the film is also a different version to the soundtrack: in the film it is more sinister and has an extended intro with Larson singing "Oh yeah" on repeat to serve the story in the scene,[1] while the soundtrack has a "heavier undertone".[23]

Megasis , I am going to add a couple of synth tracks, but I hope you can still help me with the main melody that is missing, when you have the time for it. Cheers.

Megasis , hi, I hope you haven't started on this one yet. I have been practicing it and I will be adding the final synth parts for it. Thanks for checking in, though. Cheers.

Megasis , I hope I am not overloading you with requests. There is no rush with my collabs, so if you like the song, you are welcome to prioritize it to your liking. I hope you can join us on this one. We are only missing synth and then we are done.

The only Synth I hear is a solo melody that plays on chorus, is that what you need? I don't hear anything with chords, just the mellody

@Megasis : Lots of overdubbing on this song. I will make a quick video to try and explain what I think it is I hear. I will send you a link after I make it, either tonight or tomorrow night. Thanks for looking into it.

@Megasis : Thanks again for considering this collab. I have tried to explain what I think I can hear in this video. Please let me know what you think... https://youtu.be/JJHzvFZzfWs

@Megasis : Hi again, Maximo. I just thought of a website that can help. So apart from the synth bass that I mentioned in my video, the other parts can be heard on this site. It is not the full song, but I think you may be able to use it as inspiration. You can mute all tracks except Synth Pad and Synthesizer to hear it better: https://www.karaoke-version.co....m/custombackingtrack

@dan00075 : Excellent, I can hear the Synth arpeggio. I've use karaoke-version a lot, couple of weeks ago I needed to figure out the Keys for I'm gonna be (500 miles) and that helped me, you should listen to it, it's almost complete, only vocals are missing.

Thanks Janet :-) I think this one is going to take a while to get right. The fade effects are only temporary. I plan to do them again from scratch at some point. This is a very tricky song and hopefully we will get someone to help with synth to complete it. But I am not in a hurry. :-)
