Greetings..drums/video completed. May require synchronization. There's 2 or 3 audio drop outs..not sure if my frame rate is set to high. If not usable, just advise..Rev

Love your setup Revup67 and your in the pocket man great playing, for me the video brings the whole recording effort to life, I set your alignment at -00:00.171 and that number should stay constant for future recordings in general, the only issue I hear with your recording is backing track bleed on top of your track.

@Bdajaysus: Also when I record there is a BT only button that I always click on the record page when recording live , some people don't use it but for me it is the reference track and everyone should align with that.

@Bdajaysus: ok thanks fot the tip. is that a delay as in a minus? Open to thoughts on the backing track bleed and thank you for the kind words.

@Revup67: Yep there is a set latency on Bandhug by admin and sometimes it is too much depending on your setup, it brings your recording forward by that amount for sync , my setting seems to be a constant -00:00.093 as I route through a Scarlett interface, the minus is important when it's the opposite there is no need for a +.

@Revup67 with CC's recording your audio is perfect great levels, in the recording page on Bandhug you can set audio and video recording devices , did you set TDK 50x as your device ?

@Bdajaysus: off hand I believe the default is a -00.00.100 or the last 3 digits is 100.

@Bdajaysus: Just slipped the audio by -00:00.224, that seem to correct the sync issue as my drums were not in sync. I do hear that backing track as bleed on the drums when soloing - good find. The audio out of the laptop feeds into the Mix In of the TD50x so that I can hear along. I didn't realize the mix in was feeding back out with the added drums..Hmm.-gonna have to poke around.

@Bdajaysus: Regarding the backing track, I posted in the FB Group for TD-50X and received an immediate response on the Fix "Setup button>Output>Page down(2)>Mix in routing". Will apply this setting going forward.

@Revup67: That's great news for me as well because I sometimes have issues with a listening mix while recording, thanks for that

I'd like to give this a try (drum wise - I know the drum part rather well (it's tricky, some fills may not be exact). When doing a video, what do you find is the best method with obtaining an Audio track along with your Video such as doing two separate recordings as with a phone Video and a separate Pro Audio track then synching? Or are you using the Audio out of a Mixer into your phone overriding the live audio? Thanks in advance.

Hi @Revuo67 looking forward to hearing your track , with your set-up using VExpressions your audio should be A1 and video from any source while recording will suffice. I record from TD-50 through Scarlett into my laptop, all the audio settings are from my TD-50, I do have Drum-Tec expansion kits which I mostly use over stock kits. Keep an eye on the recording bars over your video when recording and then you can align your track in DAW mode in Bandhug, any questions Admin (Denis) or CopyCat or myself will gladly help you out, CopyCat is the local recording techie.

Alignment in DAW mode is obviously after uploading your recorded track.

@Revup67: Bandhug only accepts MP4 tracks so you need to upload some video with your audio track

@Bdajaysus: thanks for all the help got it figured out. Also noted after recording, one can save the recording to Disk as a Webcam file. This can be uploaded afterward.
