@teslarian: Okay, research says it was a git-banjo, a 6 string tuned like a guitar. Lucky us, I have a Line6 Variax that can do banjo tone. It sounds pretty realistic.

@Byrdlander : does that mean you don't have to use a git banjo and can just use your guitar instead?

@teslarian: Yes, it has a piezo pickup and does a fairly convincing banjo, as sell as resonators, 12 stings and even a Coral sitar.
