Your ocarina sounds good U.Tucker! It has a tone quote close to the original recording. Well done.

Hi U. Tucker, I moved my harmony vocal tracks to Drafts and recorded a few new ones for your consideration. I hope you like them. I wanted to get "oooohs" on the second verse too. And I added a track with lead vocal melody on the "oooohs". I added compression, light EQ, and a little reverb as suggested. I set their sync adjustments in Studio mode.

They're not perfect, but they're not bad. I misplaced the "woof, vroom!" on one of the tracks but it still kind of works. I was hoping it would remind discerning listeners of "You're A Good Man Charlie Brown."

I haven't yet added comp, EQ, reverb to the lead vocal track. I'll get to that another day. It's getting kind of late here at +7hrs GMT.

Tried my ocarina. I think it's OK for now. Hope you like it too.

I 'll join the backing harmony on the highest part in time.

I can certainly adjust volume and reverb. I've been learning how to do simple post-processing in Audacity. I never did this in the old BandHub days. But BandHug makes it easy to export/import tracks (good feature, Denniski!). And a little judicious compression can really improve vocals. I often use a noise filter and noise gate (to clean up background noises) then add a little compression.

If you like, I could also mix the paired vocals into single tracks (in Audacity) in order to reduce the number of video tracks of me filling up the screen.

Feel free to mix and adjust them as I don't know much about it and I'm open to enjoy new ideas. Thank you!

Hey u. tucker, there you are! I'm glad you like it.

Another high vocal or two would be good. I was thinking of adding more, but I wanted to wait and hear from you first. I can build 3-part harmonies pretty easily but it's more fun to sing with other people.

I was thinking I might duplicate the lead vocal in head voice, to create more opportunities for mixing.

Bongos and/or more percussion would be sweet!

Do we know anybody who is good with a pennywhistle?

No. I was wondering if I could do with my ocarina. In that case the whole song sounds more naïve and humorous , which I like though.

@U.Tucker T: Yes. Second verse of this song could be really dark. Keeping it light and playful is good.

@U.Tucker T: I have a kalimba that might sound good. But it is in the wrong key for this song (C maj).

Great raw materials Suerferbato. I think your experiment has succeeded. Do you want to adjust the volume and reverb? Shall we wait for the keyboard?
I might want to add my higher backing vocal and bongos!
