"People Are Strange" is a song by the American rock band the Doors. It appears on the band's second studio album, Strange Days, released in September 1967. It was also issued the same month as a single, which peaked at number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and in the top ten on the Cash Box charts. The song was written by Jim Morrison and Robby Krieger, although credit was given to each of the Doors. The single was released with "Unhappy Girl" as the B-side.

YvesC Thanks for your hard work to integrate all parts and for your mastering. This has been really fun to do. Love everybody's contribution. Now there's one more Doors song I like to play, thanks to you all!

Good morning, here it is with optional reverb. If you go in DAW and play, you can mute/unmute the last track which is a global reverb (except bass & drums). Quite effective on the guitar solo. Let me know your preference, thx1138 Hank87 pcderic Grant

YvesC - Salut Yves ! I listened ! I think it sounds great ! IMO gives more 'life' to the overall mix and yes adds to the guitar and particularly the solo ! I love it !

YvesC I have to agree with thx1138. The whole thing sounds better. We're matching better with the vocal's reverb and it gives it an overall feeling that we're playing together at the same place. It also enhances the solos, I agree. I didn't expect it I must admit. I also pushed my track by 10ms to make it align better I think. Will you be able to avoid extra tiles in the video?

@YvesC: Sure, that should work. We won't see the diff. in the published. Maybe keep your original track in Drafts just in case.

10ms push is a good move, your track is super-aligned with drums. 1000x thanks Eric for your awesome track that helped finishing this one !

Prel. mix, I've panned keys on the left, guit on the right as the original, but not as drastic :) Comparing with the original I was thinking of adding reverb on couple of tracks, but not sure anymore, your thoughts ?

IMO, as long as it helps to make it sound like the original and that the effect itself is good. I have that feeling that the built-in BH reverb effect isn't that good?

Since I'm resubmitting my track soon, I'll add a bit of reverb at the source.

Actually, I think it's the opposite. My track needs less! It sounds like I'm recording with a mic. I like the zero (or near-zero) reverb on the other instruments so I'll redo mine w/ zero (or much less) reverb...

I did a clone of this collab on which i will test. Good idea to submit a dry track, easy to add verb, impossible to remove ;)

@YvesC: YvesC Removed most of my reverb and changed my piano sound. I'll let you republish.

Submitted a prelim. keyboard track. There's something I don't like in the sound so I'll probably submit something better later (don't close it yet pls).

Hi pcderic , Excellent! I will move the backing track to draft, and can bring it back when you'll need / if you need :)

@YvesC: No need to keep it for me. I have it local.
