"At The Mercy" is from Chaos and Creation in the Backyard, the thirteenth solo studio album by Paul McCartney, released on 12 and 13 September 2005. Some 18 months in the making, the album was produced by Radiohead and Beck collaborator Nigel Godrich at George Martin's suggestion.
McCartney played almost all of the instruments, similar to his 1970 album McCartney and the 1980 McCartney II album.
This version features Byrdlander on vocals; Michmuch on guitars, DrumrDad on drums, and Michael Dixon on Piano and synthesizer.

Hey James... I didn`t know you sing. You`ve been holding out on me. Great voice!
Wow! Amazing work everyone! Very impressive!
Michmuch, thank you so much for your fine guitar work. The guitar part here interacts with the piano part very intricately and you have done it exactly right! Merci beaucoup again. Thanks also to Byrdlander for your excellent vocal. DrumrDad, as usual, you did just what was required to make the song work, very tasteful drums. We don't get rewarded outwardly for the work we do here, our reward is the fun we have playing music together and making a song come alive. Maybe not too many people will upvote this one, it is a bit of an obscure choice but we have all done a good job of reproducing a thoughtfully composed and innovative song by one of the world's greatest songwriters.
This is ready to be marked complete and published. Thank you all so much for your free contributions and sharing of your talent.
