This stripped down version features Iam Tongi, giving the song a rebirth with a new feel and also revisted by Joeyman1 for the vocal performance in this second BH production!

Joey...redid the guitar track that was a little over-gained and re-arranged the piece so it just highlights the main guitar. Also Lynn got some nice keys to help add some fullness to the chorus. Pleased with our own version and will continue to work on Jason for drums. Vocals really are outstainding ! Let me know what you think.

Hi Rick , that sounds great the keys added do the trick , nice work Lynn . I am sure now that the cajon beat needs to be added just to drive the song through from start to finish , but ill let you decide if thats the case . Thanks again for the compliment . cheers joey . o

Joey...I refined the guitar tracks and mix and pleased with the sound. Also, added vocal FX to a duplication of your lead vocal track. Then mixed in a way that your original vocal was prominate. Let me know what you think. I know both of us have a few other creative ideas that will make this one even better ! I think we honored the legacy of Dennis Locerriere with this one...

Hey rick , nice job on the mix and guitar tracks , it might be a little heavy on the reverb, perhaps a tweek down 5% might just be a good area to be about. Thoughts ?

@joeyman1: Thanks Joey. That was a “preset” and still learning how to apply some tools outside of BH. Will see what I can figure out !

@joeyman1: Joey...give the new mix a listem. I pulled the FX track way down...which seem to do the trick and kept experimenting. Took it down much more that 5% and thought it sounded much better. Thanks for the recommendation and let me know what you think.

@Rick : Wow ,Rick thats sound pretty good huh ,well done my friend .Just one more if i may , if we pan to the left speaker just a touch, as ive got probabaly 60 /40 vocal sound . Thoughts ?

Hi Rick , I finally got a rainy day to record two tracks for you to check out. Ive saved the setting in Daw but dont know if its synced in studio mode ,i hope you can sort that out . Ive also added some reverb, but as always feel free to add what you think nessessary for the final mix down the track . i do think drums would fill this out and even some bass perhaps ? .Ii know we wanted to stick to this Tongi version but i do think it wouldnt hurt any . Let me know your thoughts and my pleasure singing with your collab again . cheers joey

Hey Joey...just made it back home and gave those vocals a listen...outstanding job. I like the vocal mix and harmony. This weekend will figure out next steps on this one. Like your suggestions. My son let me know he'd add some cajon but could be a few weeks. I may also redo one of those guitar tracks as I fall out a little out of synch. Thanks again and more to come with this one, Rick
