The song was released in 1993 as Core's second single and became a major rock radio hit in the U.S., peaking at #1 on the Album Rock Tracks and #9 on the Modern Rock Tracks. The lyrics were inspired, in part, by an unfortunate news story in Stone Temple Pilots' hometown of San Diego, California about a missing young woman who was later discovered dead by local law enforcement. This was STP's breakthrough hit off of their major label debut album. Like all of their songs of the era, it is a band composition

Sorry I've been a little slow- it's been tough trying to find a time record when no one's around!

@Jac Flash: Can I make a suggestion? Take the volume down by about 50% on the doubled track? To my ears it sounds a little tinny at full volume. With that said- this is your collab, so please do what you think is best!

@Jac Flash: The beauty of a collaborative environment... we all can suggest and one decides :), not true, of course I take your suggestions and will try to do what I think works well with the input from everybody here

Hey guys! The tracks sound great. Can't wait to cut the vocal for this one. I need to find a place where I can sing full voice and not bother the neighbors!
