@CopyCat : @CopyCat : Actually.... The BT was kind of hard to play along with during the guitar breaks. Everything just kind of blended together in places and I couldn't hear the accents, especially during the guitar breaks. It took me like five listens to get the 4 accents on the vocal part where the lyrics are "kids on the street" and when I listened afterwards nobody else accented that. Oh well.

@Bob : That's why I always check the "BT Only" box when recording through the bandhug app. I never listen to the other recorded tracks while recording my track., for that very reason. The BT is all I want to hear.

I get that. Otoh, I would prefer to play with just the cover band, but it's mostly impossible. The BT is premixed and ready to play to. Bhug doesn't give collaborators away to mix tracks before they play to it if it's not their collabs.

@Bob : I'm just wanting to copy the BT here, that's all. No need (or desire) for creativity on this one. Just a simple copy of the original. Boring, I know (said the copycat:) I understand if you prefer to play it your own way, and you understand that's not really what I'm looking for here. I've changed the BT to one with louder drums mixed in. Hoping someone might come along and copy the original for us. Anyway, keep rocking, Bud!

Hahaha, I'm glad you liked it. In fact, I'm lucky!!! It shouldn't have been the definitive track. It was just a first attempt to see how it sounded. In fact, while I was listening on the DAW, my wife called me to have dinner and I left everything there like that. Anyway, let's see how it sounds when the drum track arrives. In case I do it again (in fact, rhythmically the song is not at all obvious...) Happy Holidays to you too!!!

thx1138 - Mister Frank, you've exceeded my expectations in a major way. I mean, I knew you'd nail it, but you did it quite flawlessly, and with such grace, you really made it look like it was easy for you. And though it's obvious that you practiced a lot before recording, you still submitted your work super quickly which I also appreciate. Dude, you're the best, and I truly appreciate everything you put into this. Of course, that includes the awesome and very Christmassy video you put together. I dig the Santa hat and room decorations too. I couldn't be happier, thank you so much, my friend. Looking forward to your lead guitar track next! :-)
